Summertime is here! Enroll your child today in MCHA Summer Programs provided by Keystone SMILES AmeriCorps. All programs run Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM and lunch is included! Children will participate in a variety of activities such as science, reading, arts, crafts, and games. There is no charge for MCHA residents. To register please contact Mila Hiles at 814-221-6946. MCHA properties have become smoke-free effective 1/1/2018. This means no smoking on our properties or in our units for either staff, tenants, or guests. Those who wish to smoke must be outdoors and 25 feet away from the property.
MCHA has new hours of operation effective June 1, 2017. The new hours are from 8:30am-4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at (724)342-4000 between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. We will be happy to assist you.
The closing of the Housing Choice Voucher waiting list by the Mercer County Housing Authority is effective March 1, 2017. A large backlog of applications has forced the Mercer County Housing Authority Section 8 office to stop taking ALL applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program. All current applications will be kept active. Public notice will be made when applications for the program resumes.
